ScoutsRocking T Ranch offers programs for Scouts and can be custom designed to cover the needs of that group. Lectures, field trips, hands on activities and handouts are just a few of the activities offered. Contact the Ranch to discuss the needs of your group and the time and costs involved.ClinicsRocking T Ranch offers riding clinics with local, national and international clinicians. The Ranch has hosted clinics with Mary Wanless (Ride With Your Mind), James Shaw (Tai Chi for the Equestrian), Ann Howard (noted PT and Dressage and Eventing competitor), Sherry Guess (Bio-mechanics and body awareness for all disciplines), Richard Shrake (Western Pleasure) and Casey Hinton (Reining). Sherry Guess is a regular clinician throughout the year at the Ranch.The Ranch has also hosted clinics dealing with alternative therapies for both horse and rider including massage therapy, natural and holistic medicine, equine dentistry, acupuncture and chiropractics. Contact the Ranch for upcoming clinic dates and clinicians. ShowsRocking T Ranch schedules on site shows for students enrolled in the Riding School. These shows are geared to showcase the skills of the students and are set up to be a safe entrance into off Ranch local shows. The Ranch School show tends to be a festive family event with pot luck lunches and participation by students at all levels of riding skills.Rocking T Ranch Instructors also prepare Riding School students to participate in local open and specific discipline shows held off Ranch property using either Ranch school horses and equipment or their own horse. Shows are selected throughout the year that will allow the Riding School students to continue their pursuit of the sport of horses. Medical out patient careRocking T Ranch owners are capable of handling most equine out patient needs. This can include disbursement of prescribed medicines, wound cleansing, bandage changes, rehabilitation exercise and the charting of all care. Patients can be kept in closed circuit monitored stalls and the Ranch owners are able to work with most equine veterinarian’s medical orders for their patients.Rocking T Ranch owners are also quite capable of working with the handling and delivery of mares in foal. These very special cases are housed in large, comfortable closed circuit monitored stalls. 
Vacation stallsRocking T Ranch offers stalls for vacation horses on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Custom exercise or feed programs can be developed for the horse while on it’s own vacation.The Ranch also offers selected space for overnight travelers. Overnight guests are able to use certain turnout pens, arenas and wash areas. Contact Rocking T Ranch to discuss any of these services and costs involved. |
